AUOMMATON Attends The West Africa’s Biggest Automotive Exhibition
Lagos, Nigeria – The Amalgamated Union of Motor Mechanics and Technicians of Nigeria (AUOMMATON) proudly joined industry leaders at the West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS), held from May 13 to 15, 2025, at the Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Renowned as the largest automotive exhibition and conference in West Africa, WAAS brought together over 300 global automotive suppliers and 5,000+ industry professionals. The event provided an unparalleled opportunity for AUOMMATON to showcase its commitment to advancing Nigeria’s automotive repair and maintenance sector.
AUOMMATON’s participation underscored its mission to foster innovation, technical expertise, and global partnerships among its members. The union engaged with leading suppliers from countries like China, India, Pakistan, the USA, Egypt, and Poland. These interactions offered a platform to explore partnerships, source high-quality automotive products, and test advanced diagnostic equipment critical to modernizing Nigeria’s automotive repair industry.
Members of the AUOMMATON delegation actively participated in live product demonstrations, workshops, and panel discussions hosted at the WAAS Conference. The conference featured over 60 industry speakers, including experts in automotive technology and supply chain management.
